The 5.56x45 DM41A1 is a cartridge exclusively used by the German Armed Forces. It was engineered for both tactical use and training according to the technical requirements of BAAINBw (Federal Office of Bundeswehr, Equipment, Informationa Technology and In-Service Support). The cartridge consists of a fully encapsulated full metal jacket soft core with a bullet weight of 4.0 g. It reduces pollutant emissions to an absolute minimum in combination with the patented heavy metal-free SINTOX primer.
