The 5.56x45 LF STYX SX cartridge is engineered for special mission scenarios. Its hallmarks include outstanding deformation responses over a wide velocity range. The cartridge is therefore suitable for a broad array of barrel lengths, as reliable deformation is guaranteed over an extremely wide range of velocities. This deformation response ensures high energy transfer to the target and low collateral risk. It is equally and fully compatible with semi-automatic and fully automatic firearms. The LF Styx ACTION SX performs safely and reliably, even at longer ranges. On impact, the lead-free copper bullet deforms into six petals, which remain attached to the bullet body and therefore facilitate wound treatment.
