The French biathlon team experienced another weekend full of highlights at the World Cup in Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Republic.

Gold for Emilien Jacquelin in the men's 10 km sprint

Émilien Jacquelin delivered a masterful performance to secure the gold medal. With flawless shooting and an impressive skiing time, he left the competition behind. His teammate Éric Perrot just missed the podium, finishing in fourth place.

Silver and bronze in the women's 7.5 km sprint

Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and Julia Simon demonstrated their class with precise shooting and fast pace. Braisaz-Bouchet secured the silver medal, closely followed by Simon, who won bronze.

Gold and bronze in the women's 10 km pursuit

Julia Simon crowned her outstanding form by winning the gold medal. Her strong nerves at the shooting range and her skiing skills were crucial to this success. Océane Michelon completed the French triumph with a bronze medal.

Gold for the men's relay / 4x7.5 km

The French quartet showed an impressive team performance and won gold ahead of Norway and Ukraine. Precise shooting and fast handovers were the key to success.

The women's relay team from France also impressed with flawless shooting, securing the gold medal ahead of Norway and Germany.

Thanks to these sensational results in the Czech Republic, the French team consolidated its leading position in the overall world cup. The athletes are leading the rankings in both the individual and relay events. 4 French female athletes are in the top 5 of the women's event, while 2 male athletes have made it into the top 5!

The 2025 biathlon season with the season highlight of the 2025 Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide

The 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup will run from November 2024 to March 2025 and includes 58 dates to be held at nine locations. The season highlight is the 2025 Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide.
