Biathlete Lou Jeanmonnot celebrates double victory at the World Cup in Antholz!

Lou Jeanmonnot won both the women's 7.5 km sprint and the 10 km pursuit. In the sprint, she secured victory with clean shooting in 21:09.5 minutes, followed by Selina Grotian and Franziska Preuß. In the pursuit, she maintained her lead with only one mistake and a total time of 29:44.0 minutes. Her teammate Julia Simon finished second with clean shooting and the French also took 4th and 5th place! With her sixth victory of the season, Jeanmonnot achieved the first double victory in sprint and pursuit of her career.

The French team also won the men's 4 x 7.5 km relay race with Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Éric Perrot and Émilien Jacquelin. They only needed a total of 1:13:33.6 hours and showed an almost flawless shooting performance. And the women's relay team also made it onto the podium in Antholz. With a total time of just 1:07:49, the French team crossed the finish line shortly after Sweden and Norway to secure an excellent 3rd place.

The French team's series of successes is not only an expression of outstanding fitness. It also underlines the importance of precise ammunition in biathlon, which performs reliably even in unfavourable wind and weather conditions and at low temperatures.
